Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT IS THE 8 MM TUBE USED FOR?
For insulating 10-14 AWG wires, protecting solder joints and thick power cables.
IS IT SUITABLE FOR FPV DRONES?
Yes - ideal for battery cables, ESCs and high-current installations.
AT WHAT TEMPERATURE DOES IT SHRINK?
The shrinkage process begins above 90°C, and full shrinkage occurs at 110-120°C.
WHAT IS THE SHRINKAGE RATIO?
2:1 - from 8 mm to approximately 4 mm.
Can the heat shrink tubing be cut?
Yes, the tubing can be easily cut to any length. It is recommended to leave a few millimeters extra on each side for a better fit.
