HobbyJAPAN Yggdrasil Chronicles Japanese Edition Board Game For 1-5 Players 90 Minutes Ages 14+

[Product Description]

Set in the world of Norse mythology, this cooperative game where players become gods facing the twilight and protecting the World Tree is now available in Japanese. Face the threats foretold in the tales of Ragnarok, the Twilight of the Gods.

In 'Yggdrasil Chronicles,' players take on the roles of gods from Asgard such as Odin, Thor, and Freyja, leading elves from Alfheim and hero Einherjar, and work to fend off enemies like the fire giant Surtur, the traitor Loki, and Nidhogg, which gnaws at the roots of the World Tree, to prevent the destruction of the world.

The game features a three-dimensional board representing the worlds on a giant Yggdrasil tree, with gods traveling between worlds. Players must meet scenario conditions to avoid destroying Yggdrasil, repelling enemy invasions. Even if one scenario is successful, the situation worsens in subsequent scenarios, making each challenge more difficult as the campaign progresses.

The scenarios start with the murder of Balder and culminate in the saga of Ragnarok, including six scenarios that follow the story of the final battle at Vigrid. Each god has unique abilities, and items and enemies are inspired by mythological powers, creating a campaign mode that allows players to relive Ragnarok.
