This teleconverter is attached between the camera body and an interchangeable lens to extend the lens focal length. It features a compact design that can be useful when carrying a super-telephoto lens is difficult.
The Teleplus HD series uses a newly designed optical system to improve lens performance, achieving a 150% increase in resolving power compared with the previous MC4/MC7 products. This figure is based on the manufacturer’s specifications.
Designed as a versatile type based on a 50mm lens, it can be used with lenses ranging from wide-angle lenses to telephoto lenses up to 200mm. It is compatible with Nikon AF-S lenses of the G and E types, specifically lenses with a built-in motor and no aperture ring.
For Tokina lenses, it can only be used with lenses that have no aperture ring and a built-in motor, excluding the “AT-X 70-200 F4 PRO FX” and “opera 50mm F1.4 FF.” It cannot be used with other lenses.

[Precautions]
Do not stack multiple Teleplus converters, teleconverters, or extenders. Doing so may cause camera malfunction.
The Kenko Teleplus series cannot be used by attaching it to an adapter designed to mount a manufacturer’s genuine lens on a mirrorless camera.
Aberrations may occur compared with using the master lens alone.
When not in use, remove the product from the camera and lens before storing it.
When using the Teleplus, TTL-AE and open-aperture metering are applied in the same way as when the camera and lens are connected without the Teleplus. In principle, the camera controls exposure while including the exposure factor caused by the Teleplus. However, depending on the combination of camera and lens, exposure may tend to be excessive. Check the captured image and apply negative exposure compensation if necessary.
Lenses with a maximum aperture brighter than F2.8 support AF (autofocus). Use lenses darker than this with MF. AF is guaranteed at F5.6 or lower with the Teleplus attached.
Set the image stabilization function to OFF, as it may cause malfunction.
The lens optical correction function included with the camera is not supported, so set it to OFF.
