The JAPAN series is designed from a non-Japanese perspective. The Senbon Torii (thousand torii gates) of Fushimi Inari (Kyoto), which is popular both in Japan and abroad, is featured in this design. The traditional vermilion color of the torii, known as Inari-nuri, and the "white fox," the messenger of Inari, are incorporated into the design. Regarding manufacturing specifications: The planning and design of this product are entirely carried out in Japan (at our Kyoto headquarters). The product features a hand-dyeing process tailored to the pattern and design of each item. Quality Control and Inspection System: Our products are manufactured using carefully selected dyes and tools under our unique production management system. Furthermore, after arriving in Japan, each item is inspected by our staff before shipment. Product Characteristics Notes: Because natural, hand-spun linen fabric is used, slight variations in fabric width and the presence of dark natural fibers may be present. Additionally, due to the nature of hand-dyeing, there may be individual differences in the dyeing process depending on temperature and humidity, as well as differences in color due to monitor settings. It has a long, narrow shape, measuring 10cm wide by 170cm tall. Its slim width makes it easy to display anywhere. You can hang it individually on a pillar, in your living room, entryway, or combine several to use as a curtain. To help you feel closer to the seasons in your daily life, we offer about 20 seasonal items each season, featuring motifs of flowers and seasonal events. All are original designs by Kyoto Rakushian. They have a warm, natural texture created by human hands. Each piece is dyed by hand using traditional techniques such as hand-dyeing, stencil dyeing, and hand-painting, depending on the pattern.
