These forged pegs are made by heating round steel bar material to approximately 1100°C and then crushing the cross section into an oval shape in one go with a powerful force of approximately one ton. By applying powerful pressure to the heated steel, we create pegs with exceptional strength.
Normal round steel pegs tend to spin around in the ground, making them difficult to use, but these oval pegs penetrate hard ground mixed with gravel and stone easily and stay firmly in place without spinning around.
The material is also designed to be thicker in the direction of the rope's pull, making them extremely durable.
We've taken great care to trim the areas where the rope comes into contact with the bar material to prevent burrs from cutting the rope.
We've heard feedback that pegs are difficult to spot when placed on grass or gravel, so we've added a color to them.
These pegs are finished with a red powder coating and cathodic electroplating, which provides excellent rust prevention.
The overall length of 280mm makes them easy to use in any situation.
