Product Introduction
Nearly 40 years have passed since the F-15 Eagle was introduced as the main fighter aircraft of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force.
The F-15 Eagle remains one of the world's most powerful fighter jets.
Among the F-15 Eagles of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, the Aggressor-spec F-15J Eagle, boasting exceptional strength, is finally available as a 1/72 scale model.
The Air Training Group (until 2014, the Air Training Squadron) was established in 1981 as an aggressor (simulated enemy aircraft) unit of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force.
Its main mission is air combat training with various fighter squadrons, and it is known as an elite unit requiring specialized aircraft and highly skilled pilots.
The F-15 Eagles operated by this unit are painted with various special paint schemes that differ from standard F-15s to facilitate aerial identification.
Platz plans to sequentially model the F-15s of this elite unit.
First up is F-15J aircraft number 908, which was in service from 2016 to 2017 and attracted attention with its sharp markings.
It is characterized by its dark green paint scheme applied in a straight, two-tone manner to various parts of the aircraft.
The kit perfectly reproduces this bold color scheme using large decals from the renowned Cartograf manufacturer.
Each decal is divided to match the aircraft's outline and air brakes, aiming for both ease of application and a high-quality finish.
Of course, the aircraft itself is also modeled precisely and realistically, from the outline to the finest details.
This kit allows you to fully enjoy the presence and power befitting the "ultimate enemy."
