Tajima Glass Co., Ltd. was founded in 1956 (Showa 31) by Matsutaro Tajima in Koto-ku, Tokyo, as a glass tableware manufacturing factory. Established in 1962 (Showa 37) in Matsue, Edogawa Ward, this manufacturer has been producing glass products tailored to the times for half a century, carefully crafting each piece by hand by skilled artisans, since beginning to manufacture commercial tumblers and wine glasses.
Based on its long-cultivated product development capabilities and technical expertise, it is passing on the charm and culture of Japanese handmade glass to future generations. It contributes to various aspects of manufacturing, including supplying glass materials to designers and other workshops, and was also a recipient of the 3rd Tokyo Challenge Award.
