The Z Shorty is a 1/220 scale, ultra-small Z gauge model train, scaled down to approximately half its original length!
Despite the scaled down size, the attention to detail remains intact.
By combining the train with a separately sold powered chassis and trailer chassis, it can be operated just like a regular Z gauge train!!

The Z Shorty ready-to-play mini layout set now comes with a deluxe tunnel version! This set includes a tunnel-themed layout inspired by a local mountain line and a Kiha 40 train. All you need is two AA batteries (sold separately) to get started!
The included Kiha 40 train is in a JNR express color exclusive to this set! By cutting out the illustrations of cows, shops, railroad crossings, and tunnel portals on the packaging, you can use them as papercraft structures!
