INEFFECTIVE ! When I saw these needles I cried genius: why hadn't we thought of this before?!! It's often from the simplest things that we get the greatest ideas. Barely received (er, still a month and a half later...), I try it on (fucking hole in a beautiful sweater). The thread threads itself into the "open cat" of the needle, a real treat ! But from the first turn of the wrist you immediately understand that it's not going to do it: as much as it slips on quickly, the thread comes out even faster! So you have to do the passages slowly, VERY slowly.. But that's not all, because the worst is to come: in fact the small notch, so that the wire is not supposed to come out easily (which, as just said, works very poorly) the small notch is directed towards the direction of the sewing gesture; so much so that the cat turns... into a fish hook!! and takes all the fabric with it, and instead of patching the hole, on the contrary it enlarges it and damages the garment! Rage !! You haven't ordered this m. yet? ABSTAIN!! And continue your “grandma” sewing. (which I did immediately to try - successfully - to repair the damage... :^)])

I was finally able to test the needles. The idea isn't bad, but if you can't see very well, you have to check where you need to thread 🫣. The thread often slipped out while sewing; the side opening also often damaged the fabric. Unfortunately, that wasn't for me. Thanks anyway for the idea and the delivery. Lg

Delivery time 16 days. Very practical handling with the side opening. Points deducted because a test needle broke when I pressed it harder. Doesn't appear to be quite as stable as comparison needles. But otherwise you can recommend it with a clear conscience.
