This cordless circular saw offers power surpassing that of AC models (compared to Makita's 165mm AC model). It features a 40Vmax Li-ion battery and a high-power large brushless motor, increasing cutting speed by approximately 65% (compared to Makita's 165mm AC model, for Melapi and thickness 60×width 300mm materials).
Choose from two drive modes: the new 'Two-Way' system with 'Finish Mode' for precise finishing with constant speed control and low noise, ideal for renovation sites and interior work; and 'Speed Mode' with automatic variable speed for powerful cutting of hard materials and high-speed cutting of soft materials.
Features include reduced kickback reaction with 'AFT', dust and rain protection with an IP56 rating for dustproof and waterproof performance (designed to resist dust and water, but not guaranteed to prevent damage), and an improved LED light placement for better visibility of the blade tip from the motor housing side.
The depth guide has significantly increased rigidity, with a parallel guide fixing knob to prevent misalignment and scratches during fixing, and a fine adjustment mechanism for the base parallelism.
Equipped with 'Apt' for drip-proof and dust-proof protection, and a 5° left tilt cut for convenient flooring joint work. Wireless compatibility allows the dust extractor to activate automatically when the tool is turned on (wireless unit and dust nozzle sold separately, compatible dust extractor required).
Uses a slide-type 36V (40Vmax) Li-ion battery, with separate battery and charger. Blade diameter: 165mm, inner diameter: 20mm. Comes with a premium white chip saw blade with shark skin teeth.
Maximum cut depth: 66mm at 90°. Rotation speed: 5,500 rpm in Speed Mode / 4,100 rpm in Finish Mode. Estimated work capacity per charge (using BL4025): approximately 180 cuts (plywood, 12mm thick, 1000mm wide) or 100 cuts (Melapi, 60mm thick, 300mm wide).
Standard accessories include the shark skin chip saw blade; battery, charger, case, and wireless unit sold separately.
