Imported directly from overseas The Alfa Romeo 156 was a revolutionary model in the automotive industry. Unveiled in Lisbon in the autumn of 1997, its innovative lines, refined mechanics, and outstanding performance immediately garnered widespread acclaim. The initial platform was thoroughly refined to create a car with unparalleled characteristics, aiming to relaunch the Alfa Romeo brand. A wide range of engine options were available, including 1600cc, 1800cc, and 2000cc four-cylinder gasoline engines, a 2.5-liter V6, and 2-liter and 2.4-liter JTD engines. In 2002, the GTA, a sports car equipped with a 3.2-liter V6 engine, was also introduced. In 2003, like other Alfa Romeo models, the 156 underwent a styling refresh, and in 2005, it was succeeded by the new 159. The 2-liter version of the 156 featured an optimized version of its 1970cc four-cylinder engine (83x91 mm), producing 155 horsepower at 6400 rpm. The JTS version increased this to 165 horsepower. The 156 2.0i 16V Twin Spark had a top speed of 216 km/h.
