The basis of each glaze is glassy fusible quartz and alumina powder. The variety of colors and properties of coatings is due to the presence of oxides of other metals, which are called ribs.. Oxides of potassium, sodium and lead make the glaze fusible, but reduce its resistance to aggressive environments. Aluminum and magnesium, on the contrary, increase the melting point of the glaze and make it stronger. The color of the coating is given by oxides of metals such as cobalt. (blue and black), cadmium (Red), copper (green), tin (White), iron (Brown). One of the most popular technologies is based on the application of enamel powder to the metal surface and subsequent firing in a furnace at a temperature of 700-900 degrees.. The glaze melts and densely covers the metal surface. * The colors of the products may differ slightly from the real ones due to the peculiarities of the screen color reproduction We know everything about jewelry
