Kiyomizu-yaki, a Kyoto-style ware, is one of Kyoto's most representative traditional crafts. Its origins are said to be due to the many kilns, including those of Kiyomizu Rokubei and Takahashi Michihachi, located around Gojozaka, the approach to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. This black Raku teacup features the unique texture and warmth of Raku ware. As this teacup is handmade and hand-painted, slight variations in size, color, and pattern may occur.
