A new model joins the G-SHOCK sports line, the G-SQUAD. This model now features Bluetooth® smartphone connectivity. By linking with the smartphone's GPS function, distance measurement using the accelerometer is calibrated. Once calibrated, the watch can measure distance more accurately from the next time. By linking this distance measurement with running time measurement, the watch can measure running pace, and it also features an auto-lap function that automatically measures time after each set distance run. Along with the existing step tracker (step counting function), interval timer (up to 5 x 20 sets), lap time measurement (up to 140 x 100 runs), and calorie burn measurement, this watch supports your daily training. A new dedicated app has also been developed to help you manage your watch's settings and training. In addition to being able to check your life log and activity history, it can also automatically create training plans tailored to your set goals. The display uses a high-definition MIP LCD and is equipped with a Super Illuminator for visibility in dark places. The band uses a soft urethane material for a better fit, and features multiple band holes for precise adjustments. It also boasts features that are useful for your lifestyle.
