RAI'S 1/64 Mazda RX-7 (FD3S) Niigata Prefectural Police Traffic Mobile Unit Vehicle (355) - Finished Model

This 1/64 scale model replicates a patrol car based on the Mazda RX-7 (FD3S) rotary-engine sports car. Deployed to multiple prefectures in the late 1990s using national funds, most of these vehicles have been retired after more than 20 years. However, the Niigata and Saitama Prefectural Police vehicles modeled here are still in service. While rarely used for enforcement, they are frequently seen at various events such as New Year's ceremonies. The Niigata Prefectural Police vehicle recently added "POLICE" lettering to both doors.
