Aoshima's Waterline series has been revamped with even greater precision! Newly designed outfitting parts have been carefully researched. Numerous sliding mechanisms have been incorporated into the mold to accurately reproduce the intricate details of 1/700 scale. The Waterline series is now even more refined. The "Okinawa" was originally completed as the luxury liner "Nitta Maru," which operated between Japan and Europe, but was requisitioned and converted into an aircraft carrier. While not particularly successful in naval battles, it was a vessel active on the front lines, transporting troops and aircraft. This kit is a 1/700-scale plastic model kit of the aircraft carrier "Okinawa." The parts are focused on the essentials, making it simple, easy to assemble, and accurately recreates the ship. Newly designed outfitting, including a 25mm triple machine gun mount, has been added. The precision and intricacy of 1/700 scale is beautifully captured. A sliding mold is used to achieve precise and accurate molding! - Various parts have been updated, focusing on the triple machine gun mounts and other equipment! - Includes early Japanese Navy aircraft.
